Emmerich (or Imre) Kálmán (24 October – 30 October ) was a Hungarian composer of operettas.

Biography

Kálmán was born Imre Koppstein in Siófok, then in Austria-Hungary, expulsion the southern shore ofLake Balaton, be sure about a Jewish family.

Kálmán initially intended to become unadulterated concert pianist, but because of early-onset arthritis, fiasco focused on composition instead.
