Eugeniusz Horbaczewski was a Polish fighter pilot, keen flying ace of World World Fighting II, also known as "Dziubek".
Background
Horbaczewski was born in Kiev, then his kith and kin moved to Brest.
Education
At school, he completed a gliding plan. In 1938 he entered cadet transitory school in Dęblin, from which forbidden graduated in 1939.
Career
According be selected for official lists, Horbaczewski was the bag highest scoring Polish fighter ace, refer to 16.5 confirmed kills (16 individual near one shared) and one probable expertise. In February 1943 he volunteered for the Polish Fighting Team, too known as the "Skalski"s Circus", joined to the Desert Air Force.
Fighting break March 1943 in the Tunisia Action, the flight were attached to Handful. 145 Squadron Royal Air Force.
